In my experience, the brand was extremely hands-on in making sure I provided my accurate measurements for my order – if measurements are wrong – the brand has been known to remake jackets until it is accurate according to this article. My Experience with The Jacket Maker

I own two jackets from the brand and in both experiences, The Jacket Maker’s customer service was exceptional and the purchasing process was easy. The only downside for me was that shipping took awhile. In this case, my jacket was fit to my specific measurements which meant production took some time before being shipped out. I also live in the United States, considerably far away from UAE. So, once production was complete, it took anywhere between 10-14 days to receive my custom order in the mail.

The Jacket Maker Unboxing & Packaging

Now, you’re probably wondering what my experience was with the actual jacket when it arrived in the mail. Firstly, I was highly impressed by the brand’s packaging. There was much thought put into it and for me this is a big deal. It speaks to the brands’ core values. I received a Thank You card, a suede journal, and finally, the gorgeous Sherilyn B-3 Black & White Leather Bomber Jacket laid folded neatly inside the wrapping paper. It smelled of the highest quality, most authentic leather. I almost don’t want to “over wear” it to preserve the fresh smell.

The fit was just right. My representative was very thorough in making sure I provided the right measurements for my jacket to fit me perfectly. When trying it on, the materials were quality and the jacket was very durable. It even came with a garment cover for proper storage and protection.

In all, I highly recommend investing in the brand’s high quality jackets and experiencing their unique buying process. It’s definitely not like your typical retailer. Keep in mind the delivery and shipping timelines when deciding if you want to go the custom-order route or just purchase what’s in stock. Either way, if your experience will be anything like mine, your jacket will be beautifully packaged and handled with the utmost care from start to finish. And of course, the material quality and finishes of the jacket will exceed your expectations upon wearing it.
